Ho hum, winter is just around the corner &, once again, I've run out of
space in the shed so I spent yesterday shuffling things around to make
space. And boy, is there a load of crap to shift.

At some point in the near(ish) future I'll be taking a car load of
bits[1] of alloy up to the local scrappy.

So, if anyone needs any X7 bits (or Z550 engine bits) gimme a yell
before I dispose of it all.

Come to think of it, I found a 19" 7 spoke Kawasaki front wheel[2] -
think it's from a Z550 but who really knows?

    Bob

[1] X7 wheels & engine casings, Z400 crank cases etc
    [2] and a pair of FZX750 wheels.

I may know a recipient for that little beauty. He'll need it when he
buckles the one he's got by taking out a line of pensioners in a bus
    queue.

    Pah.

Where are you, Bob? I'm interested in the wheel and possibly in the
    bits.

I'm in central Scotland, although there may be a possibility of carting
the stuff to Reading next time I'm down there if that's any use.

Engine bits: couple of heads, 2 sets of camshafts, at least 2 cam
covers, set of barrels & pistons, a stray set of pistons (bore unknown),
a bottom end complete with new[1] primary chain & starter clutch, sundry
    other odds n sods.

I'm keeping both the sets of alternator windings I've found so far as
they're the same ones the Laverda uses - if I move them on it'll eat the
electrics but if I've spares on the shelf they'll be fine ever after,,,

[1] okay, a decade old but never been run - can you tell who had an
    unfinished rebuild abandoned on him?

    Ooh, Reading's very convienient.

The engine bits aren't of major interest to be honest. I'm sure should
the 500 die that I'll drop a complete lump in rather than try to rebuild
something that's been in pieces for ten years.

Beer vouchers will be forthcoming for the wheel though.
