XJ 650 Air Filter Replacement?

    I have been told by a local dealer to use an K&N
    filter as an OEM replacement. Only thing is, this alternate they
    suggest is foam and requires oil? I went to K&N website and found
    serial # 1650 as their replacement item. I have not seen this 1650 but
    I want to replace with paper-based cartridge like the original, not an
    oil soaked foam? Any thoughts on this?

    Thanks for your reply. I should have mentioned that the original
    filter is gone. Will this K&N still work?
