XR250Y anyone?!

  1. Hey Guys,

    I just bought a 2nd hand 2002 XR250Y, yeah it says 'Y' and model
BA-MD30 in the manual (which is a wierdo B&W photocopy job) I can't
find out much info about them. I have this strange feeling it's an
    XR250L...

Ride height feels lower, has a magic button (e-start), metal gas tank,
pillion footpegs, digital speedo, 130kgs(specc'd in manual) and doesn't
seem to have as much balls as the 250R's I rode. Can I do some check
with the engine number or something?

oh yes - it's my first moto and I have more questions...but I'll start
    here!

    cheers,

    cam.
PS. '02, PC, only 395 km's on the clock, 12 mnths reg for under 4K :)

Contact a dealer or distributor with the engine and frame number.

    Maybe it's a rebirth/stolen bike...a frankenXR.

Ring Honda MPE in Melbourne and ask for the warranty dept. They should
be able to access the details you want from the engine/frame number.
