  1. Arse!

Nothing broken[1]; only a "Grr, gotta get this thing back upright again"

Causing by some dawdling **** who couldn't decide if he was stopping or
turning right into the road I was pulling out of and hence I lost my
    balance.

[1] Just a bent brake lever and a log in the "dropped-it" log of the
    ECU.

I hate to say this: YOU WENT THE WRONG WAY UP A ONE-WAY STREET[1][2].

[1] OK, it's a two-way street but we don't go that way up it.
[2] For the befit of TOG, Deadmans Lane.

Yes. I thought about that when I was going up it.

Still 10 out of ten to Yamaha for making bendy levers. I'd have been a
bit fucked if they snapped off that the Suzuki shit I've had in the
    past.

Ah, did I fail to mention it[1]? It is very much lore and not law
    around here.

    [1] I usually do.

No, you didn't. I failed to listen to the voice telling me that you'd
    told me.

I've only ever met *one* person going the wrong way down DMN, and that's
    in 30 years.

    I thought everyone knew!?

  15. Next time we meet, CIHAGM again? As I'm thinking of getting another
bike soonish - I've just changed jobs, doubling my salary, and am
tempted by one, or something similar...

  18. Well, I've gone from shitty warehouse work to proper grown up
engineering at Southern Railway. Free rail travel for me and the family
and every 9th week off on top of 6 weeks' paid hol for the win!

    Bloody hell. Nice one!

It's not a dead cert yet but the XT might be for sale soon.

Email for details if you're vaguely interested and I might brave the
cold and bring it somewhere you can try it out.
