Does anybody know anything about the new Yamaha XT660R (dual version) or X
(supermotard version) ???

Is Yamaha Australia going to bring them in, and if so how much will they be
?

Well don't bother asking the pricks 'cos they won't tell you and when they do
release it they won't email you as promised, and don't bother subscribing to

So, at least one Japper wants to cash in on the rolling wave of F650 style
euro-bikes...
Good on 'em, about time.
But a "newly developed 660 engine" sounds rather like a worked-over XTZ660
donk to me, nothing much new about that.

They'd be stupid to change something (or rebuilt from scratch) what's been
serving them so well for so long.
It could also be a spin-off of some development work they've originally done
for MuZ?
Doesn't matter, looks good, hopefully the rest is good enough to take the
Euros headon.
As long as they keep building the Xt6 the way it is and offer it as a
separate item.
Nothing beats simplicity.
