I've got an XT660Z which shares the same engine but very little else.
Great fun to ride if you concentrate on keeping your corner speed high
and easily capable of being ridden at reasonable touring speeds all
    day.

The engine's are much better than the older style single cylinder
trail bikes used to have and don't suffer from vibration to any great
degree so you don't end up with white fingers after 30 minutes of
riding and they're pretty good on fuel so you're not constantly having
    to stop and fill up.

Vibration white arse is a bad thing.

    post a revue monday.

I can't get my head around people handing over useable kit to the Hun.
