    Hi
Got a problem with the above. After a run, lots of engine oil under the
bike. Found its coming from inside the air-filter box under the tank
and spilling all over the engine. The air-filter is saturated as is the
inside of the box. I dont know why this is happening. Any help would be
    appreciated!
    Cheers!

The rings/bores are fucked. Or you've dropped it recently & haven't
    mentioned it.

  3. Common problem with the Diversion - mine did it.

It required a modification to the breather arrangement. I got the
dealer to do the mod and I think it cost me about £50 and it's been fine
    ever since.

Isn't there the possibility that there's too much oil in it and that the
excess is being pumped out of the breather into the airbox...?

Not that I ever did that with the Porsche about 3 years ago or anything...
Honest.... Ish... It had a Wacky Races style smokescreen behind it until
we managed to drain the excess litre and a half (filled it up on a slight
incline, didn't I?) but once the air filter was cleaned up it ran fine
    again.

That said the OP hasn't made any mention of plumes of white smoke when it
was running, which I'd expect if the airbox is full of oil.

Well I'd say it's a fairly safe bet that the oil in the airbox is
coming up the breather, but whether that's due to over-filling, crank
pressure or a drop is anyone's guess. Over-filling seems unlikely
though as only a totally clueless twat would do something like that.
Perhaps his mirrors aren't as good as Lozzo's.

Guesswork?!? That was a highly in-depth & technical[1] analysis of the
problem I'll have you know. Bloody "guesswork" indeed.

    [1] & wrong, probably.
