Has anyone had any success at fitting newer bodywork to a 1999 Yamaha R1? I'm starting a new project with a 99 and like the look of the 02-03 style bodywork available. (Specifically from Sharkskinz, though I'm open to input on that as well). I don't have the bike in hand yet, so I don't yet have any measurements to compare to an 02-03 R1. My concern is with change in dimensions that will make fitment impossible. Bracketry is not so much of an issue. I know the R1's seem to keep getting narrower with each major revision, so I'm not certain it's possible. Has anyone else has attempted this? Any information would be appreciated. -Vin
