I'm sat here watching "Cop video's from Hell" or some such on M&M and the
best clip ever has just been shown.

Cop in car sees a bike and clocks him on radar at 50 in a 30 limit area, so
he goes after him. Another "biker" on the same stretch of road but NOT
speeding sees a gentle curve in the road, runs wide and bins the bike.
    (Harley of course)

The cop eventually catches up with the speeder after stopping to ask the
binner if he's Ok. Cop proceeds to book speeder boy. No real problem, but a
lot of huffing, puffing and willy waving (well there's about 10 bikers,
although the cop said 20) all which came to nowt as the cop handed biker boy
his ticket and drove off down the road to turn around.

On the way back, we see "speeding biker boy" trying to start the "new,
improved, reliable Harley" which he eventually does, but only after
completely knackering himself in the process. He almost pukes he's fucked
himself up that much, which should tell you something about his fitness.

Anyway, he gets on the bike (which has THE biggest ape hangers I've ever
seen), gets his pal on the pillion and proceeds to ATTEMPT to ride off. The
bars are so high he's got **** all control though and demonstrates this
wonderfully by pulling an unexpected and unwanted monster wheelie,
depositing his pillion off the back and then proceeds to wheelie the bike
all over the back of his mates bike, which is already at the junction. 2
bikes down, 4 "bikers" down and a cop with wet knickers.

I've got to get me a Harley if that's the fun they bring.

    Beav...

Polycarb helmets... Is there a primer/barrier coat that I can apply so
that I can put a 2 pack chameleon coat on a helmet? We have a really
funky TVR paint at the works that we won't use again, looks really
good on curved surfaces, shame to waste it... Ideas?...

Even glue from stickers will migrate into a polycarb substrate and cause
high stress points, so if it's a bare unfinished lid, I'd be VERY careful.
Of course, your lid will have been sealed at the factory before they applied
the colour, so if you don't bollocks up the original finish, you should be
Ok. Grey scotch and NOTHING else will see the surface prepped but not too
badly damaged that the lid isn't useable.

And remember, the chameleon paint isn't 2pk, it's single component base
coat, so all you do is thin it. No activator, just thinners and it needs to
be thinned at 50/50. Light dust coat first, wait 10 minutes then a slightly
heavier coat. Wait 15 minutes then a good full coat. Lacquer over the top in
the same way. One dust coat, wait 10 minutes, one wet coat, wait anoter 10
minutes, then bollock on a final coat with the gun a GOOD distance from the
job or you'll get runs like niagra falls.

Flat with 2000 used wet and wiped with soap (don't ffs use Fairly liquid,
it's too salty) then polish with G3 and a buffer. Or shove it in a box and
send it to me and I'll do it for you.

    We have a really
It's WAY beyond it's "cool by" date now, you do know that? Mined ewe, if
you're not a fashion victim (as if, eh?:) WGAF?

    looks really
Yeah, box the lid, make sure the paint can't get out of the tin and shove it
in the box too (inside the lid if it'll fit and it should) then send it up
here and I'll squirt all over it and get it back to you. Can't say fairer
    than that can I?

This lid is bare white polycarb... So maybe I won't bother, not worth
    taking the risk...
Heh, considering what I ride and what I wear...
A very kind offer, thanks anyway... I may save the paint untill I spy
a lid at a good price that's got a laquer coat, at which point I may
take you up on your offer...

Great weather atm, had a chance to fly your helicopters?

    Anytime O.
Too busy riding, and it means I can take the missus along and we *both* have
a good weekend and I don't get mithered off the newbie flyers.
