Yay! Got it!

  1. OK, so I'm an anorak, but I have *never* seen one of these for sale, and
    I *had* to have it.

So I waited until the last minute, and slipped in a crafty bid, and...

.....I'd forgotten to log in. Aargh.

Frantic keystrokes, praying I wouldn't make a mistake. And got it with
    five seconds to spare.

What I really want now is an original sales brochure, but I've never
    seen one for sale.

you mean all those ones I had [1] of late 70's and 1980's
Kawasakis could have been worth something ????? feck it now I am
    pissed off ...

[1] until a month ago when I figured a mass sort out and dump in
the skip was in order ... took four journeys with a LWB frontera
full of various brochures ... owners manuals ... workshop
manuals ... crate assembly guides ...

Of course, if you'd been really crafty you wouldn't have bothered
bidding at lunchtime yesterday - might have saved yourself one pound
    forty-nine pence!

Made me smile too. was it intended in the perambulatory or commercial
    sense?

    Regards,

Are you sure it can't be traced - the sales brochure that is? Lately there
    were a lot of them on the US-ebay version;
Not that i would give a sh*te for a Honda-brochure, not even if it was a
    stroker ;-)

  10. Hadn't thought of looking for one there, to be honest.

    Thanks.

Why do I want this shit? Well, The Doctor's 400 Four is one of the best
you'll see - seriously, not *the* best, but bloody good, as in:

And we've got so much supporting paperwork - original manual, service
book, original receipt, parts book, etc etc - that I'd like to amass
some more. hence buying this dealer set-up book. After all, it's only a
    few quid.

That's the reason why I got it actually :). Bit lame on low revs, but than
suddenly kaBOOM ;-) when you hit that small area known as 'powerband' on
    twostrokes ;-).
Planning on doing a 'Penton'-job on it, but that would take down the
expectations of a long and happy life still to come - for the bike that is
    ;-)
