I've currently got TomTom Nav5 on my ol' Palm, but I want to get Euro maps for a trip over there. Of course, latest maps don't work with Nav5 and it doesn't seem possible to get them any longer. I've even looked at Wessie's favourite site. So, I'm now looking towards a dedicated device with Euro maps. I'd like full postcode search and ability to add custom POIs as well as the usual stuff you'd expect. I'm happy to jump brands and I've been looking at the Garmin stuff, but with so many models it's quite confusing. A 255 with EU maps can be had for under a ton, except their website lacks technical details on the postcode search. Or there's the newer 1240 for around £140. Also getting POIs off google maps and onto the device might be useful, thought it's not a must-have.
