So you're suggesting that Greece was perfectly fine with big surplus
*before* the "global financial crisis" hit and they only turned to shit
afterwards?

The plain down to earth here is that I couldn't give a flying frig what
anyone else thinks.

Economists and financial advisors have no more natural ability to predict
the future than the lollipop lady at your local school crossing. They like
to make a *huge* noise *after* an event but seldom do they seem willing to
make pinpoint predictions *before* anything happens. In fact, if they were
so fucking great at what they do we'd never have recessions in the first
place as these fucking geniuses would be able to see the things coming like
a low flying jumbo jet and stop them before they start.

Have a guess how many times that's happened previously? I'll give you a tip:
The answer starts with "z" and ends in "ero".

As if anyone on earth would risk travelling from South East Asia on a

I'm not suggesting that at all, but Greece and many other countries - even
those not nearly as disorganised as Greece are up shit creek now where they
weren't before.

I don't give a **** what you believe, fact remains that the EU has had a
significant negative impact from the GFC.
