    460cc Harrier(?)/Jock Kerr conversion? They'd 120 for a _short_ while.

The Yoshi 460cc kit was a good'un, actually, and was used by Mocheck
in their Harrier (a few years ago I had the chance of buying a really
clean 100% original Harrier for £1200, and passed on it. I must have
been mad). They were very solid: they had to be, to win a TT. And the
400 Four engine is as tough as old boots to begin with, camchain
    tensioner excepted.

The Jock Kerr kits were uniformly awful, yes.

Actually a 400 Four does go remarkably well if wound up, as a few bods
here who've followed mine will testify. 110mph on the GPS, though,
makes me suspect that either the GPS is inaccurate, on the bike had
    definitely been breathed on.

I would agree that they can go if wound up, I have no reason to doubt
the GPS as the car speedo matched, but I was surprised by it.
