I was wondering about you. I figured you just got caught so far into
that new FJ that you forgot about us "lowly" types!

How've you been and what've you been up to?

I saw the "Bownse" and it took me a second to realize it was you. Then
sure enough, I opened the message and saw your name at the bottom.

Not really. But I was sort of distracted. Had to have 3 vertebrea fused
in my neck, so the Wing sit in the garage for 6 months before I sold it.
Shame though only did about 60,000 miles on it in the 2 years I rode it.
Had to look for something a little less bulky to ride once I was
mobile again. Woo Hoo is that Feejer da sheets!
Sort of busy last year what with getting the bike, prepping it and then
riding the 2003 Iron Butt Rally. That pretty much tapped all my free
time and disposable income. Thankfully my wife didn't consider me
disposable when it was all over. <g> Since then I've not have vacation
time or money to do too much. Really down this year on riding. Only
18,000 miles on the first year with the Feejer.

I hope to do Big Bend and a few close, short rides this year. Maybe
Moscow, ID if I can afford it. 2 days up and 2 days back with 2 days of
riding the area and roadside rest areas instead of hotels will keep the
costs down. Maybe a day trip over to Seattle and back to visit my
brother if I can. Nothing firm on anything yet.
Yah, could fudge the last half of the e-mail address, so had to mod the
    first when posting to usenet.

I am deeply "offended" by being referred to as a "reprobate".. As Grand
Wizardly and Supreme Moderator of this group, it is my duty to inform you
that a committee will be assembled, immediately to consider severe sanctions
    against such comments..

Grand Wizardly Supreme and Illustrious Moderator in Irving
Bill Walker, esq.. (dammit.. forgot what it means again.. where's that
    freakin' committee)

I dunno, Bill. "Reprobate" sounds similar to "rebate", and we all know how
    much you like a discount.
