  1. And exactly how many years/miles have you been riding bikes for?

Oooh, well. If he's done CBT *plus* it must be several months, by now, I
    would think.

My 'natural' argument? I never used the word so I guess you're
referring to the bit where I say 'biking is by its nature more
dangerous than driving a car'. If you don't or can't accept that I
wish you lots of luck in your future biking career.
I've got nothing against additional training so long as it's optional
but even with all the training in the world the death/serious injury
figures for bikers will never reach parity with car drivers. Which was
    my point.

You've got to love statements like

"On the 2nd of July he came round a bend at speed and was killed instantly."

when it's pretty fucking obvious he *didn't* get round a bend.

She is. I wonder what she'd say if Plod told her the bike weighed 600
    kilo's?

Do you use this sortf of pedestrian crossing in the UK?

    http://www2.diariomotor.com/imagenes/paso-cebra-nuevo-disenho.jpg

Works great, no issues for pedestrians. The pic is from Barcelona,
dunnou whether they are used elsewhere.

If that's a traffic light in the top left corner then yes, it looks
    similar to our Pelican crossings.

By nature? Biking is not 'by nature' more dangerous than anything that I
can think of. Depends how you define 'biking' and any other stuff. A
pissed poor driver is far more likely to crash and die (and take a few
with them) than a good biker. If we have to differ, we just have to.
No, yes, that's a good point, and anybody would be daft to suggest
    otherwise.

The training was optional, but part of my point was it was free. I'd
never have bothered if it wasn't. And the other part of my point was
that I learnt a great deal, and I do believe I'm less likely to crash
and die because of it. Nothing in nature about tthat. That's nurture.

Not saying you or anyone here would get anything iut of it, of course,
    but I did.

The cunts are at it with gusto too, roadblocks, unmarked cars all over the
place, nightly bannings in the local paper.

I'm gonna go out on my bike & do the whole A65 in front of lorries at 20mph.
