    How do all. Surfaced from the shed again. I ahve some none bike
    realted news ...

    Me and Sam (aka Lucretia) have gone our separate ways and the divorce
    is in the offing. New house for her.

    Oh yeah amy be having a bit of a party at my place on either 21st
    December (solstice) or poss New Years Eve.

    AH but it has cost me a lot! Managed to keep all my bikes and my car
    but I have has to fork out on all new kit for the house. Funny thing
    is a new welding kit suddenly came more important than they realy big
    new fridge. So now two small frideges one for food and one for beer!

  18. So did I, but on googling it seems that it's 11.5 as a national average.
    I think the figures for recent marriages are much lower - istr those who
    wed within the past decade are quite likely to divorce in about 4 or 5
    years.

    Well I'm averaging more than that, certainly. First one was 9 (well,
    more untile the decree absolute, but YKWIM) and the second one's now
    up to nearly 12.

    Hog says...
    I lasted 5 years, or there abouts. For one of those years I was living
    in Bedford while she was in Norwich, then she spent one year in Saudi
    while I was over here and in the States. It took two years for the
    divorce to come through from starting proceedings, so in effect I spent
    a year properly married to the bitch, and that was approx 365 days too
    fucking long.
