Zephyrs at the Berkshire Triumph Owners Club Show

    Last weekend I had a most enjoyable time with a bunch of Zephyr owners, when
    we had a "presence" at the above show.

    15 or so Zephyrs turned out (1 x 550, lots of 750's and a few 1100's).

    The 1100 with the very shiny swing arm won the "Zephyr you'd most want to
    take home" award (mine didn't get a single vote, so no surprises there
    (mine's the one with the dark flyscreen with Ace Cafe sticker on).

    The polished swing arm on the shiny one was apparently a modified ZZR1100
    (or something similar) item, which was apparently a bastard to fit (much
    machining etc), but looks really trick, and allows a 180 section rear tyre
    to be fitted.

    The one with the foreign plate is a 750, which the chap rode 2 up all the
    way from Greece. Needless to say he won the "Furthest Distance Travelled"
    award.
