Well, i'm wondering, but I never actually did post anything derogatory against Mr Anthony Brandy of ol' London town, but maybe I was an easy target. Of course, I could just get a new posting name, but after 12 years i'm quite attached to it, and there's a point of principle at stake here ... Paul.
You needn't have posted anything at all in reponse to him, he's suitably deranged enough that he'd pick anyone at random who is an easy target - namely, using google groups to post to usenet. That bloke is a terminally illiterate spunkstain on the bedsheets of humanity.

Anyway, if you need an NNTP server that operates on a different than standard port, no problem [1]. Just email me. [1] Just thought, I can run it on port 80 on a dedicated IP as A&A give me 8 to play with and I'm only using one at the moment.
Well, have a look of my history on Google groups. The posts hit usenet, but they're removed from google shortly after posting. Must be some sort of blacklist, or Google Groups is broken. The jury's out ... Paul.
