    Hi folks,

can anyone tell me what the arrangement is with keys.. I have a ZZR250 I
bought without keys. I need to know if the fuel cap and seat locks are the
same as ignition, or are they all seperate etc ..
I am going to get keys cut for the locks but don't know which barrels i'll
    need to take along.

    Cheers,

    Adam.

Most bikes' fuel caps and ignition are the same barrels and normally the
    seat locks as well.

Unless of course one of them has been changed, in which case you'll have
    wasted a trip.

Easier just to pinch the bike with the keys in it, much more convenient.

unless they have been changed they will all be the same

take the ignition lock to a locksmith and about $50 will get you 2 new keys

I hear they are interchangeable with Honda Fireblade keys. Perhaps the same
bloke you stole it off might have an idea.

    I have a ZZR250 unfortunately ... :D

All the locks are the same so you only need the one key :)

all the locks are the same unless someone tried to steal it and
the lock was damaged and has been replaced with another from the wreckers

best case you will get away with the 1 for all

worst case you will need 3 different ones
